Storm updates and upgrades

Storm has been running for more than a year, working hard hosting the IRC, proxyElite and a GoogleSharing proxy. After all this time, she was well overdue for some updates.  After a month and a half of intermittent downtime Storm is back and better than ever.  We’ve upgraded the RAM to 8Gigs to allow for more VMs as well as the software and operating systems.

We’ve also updated the IRC config and have linked Storm back to the psych0tik IRC, meaning you can now connect to on port 6697 (SSL required) again.

The SSL certificate generated for the GSProxy running on Storm has also expired, so we’ve re-generated that.  If you’re having issues with our proxy, be sure you’ve added an execption for our new certificate. Instructions for that can be found at the bottom of this post.

If you notice anything is out of place or not running properly after these upgrades, let us know and we’ll get it fixed ASAP.
